Depending on the crime, an expungement may be possible in state, municipal or traffic court. Even if you have a conviction, you may still be eligible for an expungement by setting aside the conviction (Article 894 for misdemeanors, Article 893 for felonies) and in some cases through the passing of certain time requirements or the obtaining of a First Offender Pardon.
